Wildlife Conservation

Along with snow leopard, other rare wildlife is also inhagited in this region. Owing to wildlife, conservation is an objective of KCAP; other rare wildlife protection is also responsible for them. Therefore, to monitor, keep account and implement DNPWC act 1973 on illegal hunting are include in this program. For the program KCAP had been budgeted NRs 187,825.00 for the fiscal year 2006/07 and NRs. 3,00,000.00 for the fiscal year 2007/08. in this program KCAP staffs make a team including local people and visited different areas. During the visit they have experience of seized more than a dozen snares for Musk deer, Black bear, Danfe, etc. They have also caught a HMG official person who is involving in such illegal hunting of that rare wildlife. In this way, they use to lookout the wildlife hunting.
